UNIVERSITY OF WISCONSIN - MADISON

Allies Program

From the UW Allies website

The Allies Program is a UW-Madison student organization that seeks to promote greater visibility and a more welcoming environment for the LGBT community. An ally is anyone who shares the common goals of advancing social change and facilitating positive interactions among those of all sexual orientations and gender identities.

The best way for students to get involved is to attend Allies meetings and events. The meetings this semester will be held in Memorial Union. Check the TITU page for the room location. Time and dates of meetings will be announced on the e-mail listserv. Members of the community and UW-Madison professors are encouraged to get involved as well.

For news and other information about the Allies Program, you can join the Allies listserv. If you have any questions for the Allies, feel free to send an e-mail to UWAllies@gmail.com.
