UNIVERSITY OF WISCONSIN - MADISON

Mentor Program

The Mentoring program provides an opportunity for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning students to discuss issues of sexuality with similar students. We provide a confidential and safe environment for you to talk and ask questions of a peer who understands what you are going through. If you need to discuss questions or concerns regarding your sexuality with a comfortable and caring person who may have gone through some similar experience then the mentor program is perfect for you.

Request a Mentor

First, we need to know a little bit of information. Don't worry, all information submitted is completely confidential. The Mentor Program Coordinator will schedule a preliminary meeting with you to discuss what you need in a mentor. Then the coordinator will pick the perfect person to be your mentor who will contact you to set up a meeting to talk.

Become a Mentor

If you are interested in becoming a mentor and offering a safe space to discuss sexuality with a peer please submit the following form. You can expect an email in a few days from the Mentor Program Coordinator who will set up a training time with you (1-2 hours).
