Funding an education is a leading concern for many LGBTQ students.  Browse opportunities below for undergrad and graduate students.

Astraea Lesbian Foundation

Astraea’s International Fund for Sexual Minorities supports projects led by lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and intersex (LGBTI) communities that directly address oppression based on sexual orientation and/or gender identity/expression.

GLBT Alumni Council

The GLBT Alumni Council, in association with the LGBT Campus Center, is proud to award scholarships to LGBTQ and similarly-identified individuals and their allies who have shown potential and sustainable leadership and impact on the LGBTQ community at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Applicants from across the spectrum of sexual orientation, gender identity, and/or gender expression are welcome.

LEAGUE Foundation

This program is open to graduating high school seniors who identify as gay, lesbian, bisexual, or transgender.

Live Out Loud

Every year, Live Out Loud rewards hardworking LGBTQ graduating seniors with scholarships that help make their college dreams a reality.

PFLAG National

Students are eligible to receive scholarships from both their local chapter and the national PFLAG office.

Point Foundation

Empowers promising LGBTQ students to achieve their full academic and leadership potential to make a significant impact on society. In addition to financial support, Point Foundation matches each scholar with a mentor.

Queer Foundation Scholarships

The Queer Foundation Scholarship Fund promotes effective writing by, about, and/or for queer youth. The Queer Foundation offers to the winners of each year's essay contest $1,000 scholarships to the U.S. college or university of their choice to study queer theory or related fields.
