Volunteer

The Campus Center and LGBTQ organizations throughout Madison offer volunteer opportunities for students and community members. Volunteers gain professional experience, make friends, and test out whether this kind of work is their passion! Explore options below.

Volunteer at the Campus Center

We train interested students to volunteer in our office and at our events. Interested? Please fill out the volunteer form.

Office Vibe

Office Vibe volunteers help with the general operations of the Campus Center, greet visitors, and help create a welcoming space for everyone.

Event Team

Event Team volunteers help out when they can by responding to volunteer blasts, tabling at some programs, and assist with set up and break down at events.

Street Team

The Street Team helps us get the word out! We supply them with flyers and chalk and they spread the word about our events in their neighborhoods, academic departments, and on social media.

Volunteer in the community

OutReach

The OutReach LGBT community center has a speaker's bureau, committee work, peer counseling, and group facilitation opportunities for interested volunteers.
