About the GSCC
The Gender and Sexuality Campus Center (GSCC) supports LGBTQ+ students and their communities. We are a unit of UW–Madison Student Affairs.
We’re glad you’re here. Please contact us or come by!
We envision a University of Wisconsin–Madison that actively addresses oppression in all its forms and affirms, includes, and celebrates people across the spectrum of gender identity, gender expression, and sexual orientation, including their intersectional experiences and perspectives.

Take a tour
Check out the GSCC space!
The CC is welcoming and comfortable. Students spread their work out on the tables to study, eat lunch, do crafts, and play games. A range of student groups holds meetings at the Center and we hold special programs regularly. We have comfortable couches, two big TVs, a conference room, a quiet space, a full library, occasional snacks, and great tunes.

History
The GSCC was founded in 1992 and became an Office of the Dean of Students in 2003. It celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2022! It has had several name changes, most recently from LGBT Campus Center in May 2018.
We got a brand new space in fall 2020!
